A few months ago I was asked to create a piece for CASA, the Court Appointed Special Advocates of East TN. It happened like this – I sent one of those “Announcing C is for Cardboard” postcards to my hairdresser, Mandie. She put the postcard on her station and another client saw it. Her name is Stephanie and she is on the Board of CASA. One day we were in the salon together and Mandie made the connection. Stephanie asked me to donate an item to their silent auction on June 2. I was happy to participate. I created the cardboard version of a Knoxville landmark – Neyland Stadium, home of the UT Vols.
