I just completed a project for a family member. Shannon’s Dad turns 65 at the end of the month and she wanted a unique gift. Shannon settled on the Lone Cypress in Monterey, California as the focal point. Her parents were both in the Air Force and met in Monterey. I think the Lone Cypress is perfect to build a design around.
I began drawing in Illustrator and completed this file:
Each color in the file represents a different layer.
I started with a plain base layer, added these four layers, plus a border layer.
