Starting this week I have space in Southern Market here in Knoxville. It’s a neat store that’s broken up into booths/stalls/thingies where several different merchants sell their wares. Over the years local Etsy sellers have wanted in, but it never quite worked. Now they’ve designated two large booths for a pile of local Etsy artists. I’m renting a shelf and I have my fingers crossed.
My other foray into retail at the Health Factory didn’t work out. They closed the little market inside – not enough foot traffic. Southern Market has been around for 20 years and they have a well established clientele. The place is a middle aged woman’s retail therapy heaven!
The owner asked me to make the sign to hang over one of the two Etsy booths. I was happy to do it! And I’m pretty proud of my faux metal paint job.
