Over the past few weeks, I’ve done a few projects involving Converse sneakers.
First I had a client who needed giant Converse silhouettes for a suicide awareness event called “A Walk Towards Hope”. I made three big sneakers…and couldn’t resist trying them on.
A few days later, another client asked for Converse. She wanted small shoes to use a marketing items with the aim of “Getting her foot in the door.” So I created 8.5″ long Converse made from cardboard and colored poster board. They turned out great as well!
It was a long-ish process to assemble 25 shoes, but I love them. I really hope they help my client get her foot in the door. I think you could also use them to tell someone, “You’re an All-Star!”
